Novermber 8th Daily Blog

Today in class we did independent work.  We had to pick one person's blog post from your class and one person's blog from outside your class and had to write a comment on it.  The comment had to be 200-400 words or a substantial paragraph.  In your comment you should engage a conversation with the person.  When you are commenting you needed to go deeper than just agreeing or disagreeing with the person.  Your tone in your comment should have been respectful with sincerity and sophisticated.  Since the class period was shortened if you did not finish the comment you have until Monday to finish them.  There are so many different shows and movies that you could comment on.  When commenting you do not have to have seen the show.  It might be easier to have seen the show before so you can compare how you felt about the show and how others felt.  I did my comments on Riverdale and Happy Death Day and reading the blogs that were posted about them were interesting.  I did not agree with the blog about Riverdale and agreed with the post about Happy Death Day.  It was neat to see that one of the shows that I loved someone else absolutely hated.  It is just like when a critic would write a review on a movie that hated it and then another critic would write a review on the same movie that loved it.  Critics write reviews on movies and TV shows all the time and not every critic agrees with what the other has to say.  It all comes down to how we view the movie and what kind of movies or shows we like.  For homework we also have to read the rest of Level One in Ready Player One by November 15th.
