Daily Blog: March 29, 2018

Today, March 29th, in class we began with an introduction from Mr. Rivers. Immediately afterward, he told us that we need to begin our pre-production with our groups for our podcast. Then he assigned every group to a specific room or area in the school to record their podcast.
Starting off the pre-production, groups discussed their past podcast, this podcast goals/objectives, and possibly some points that will be addressed. Afterward, the groups were off to their recording locations and began to record.
From today lesson I can really see how this would translate into life. In order to be successful with a team of people, you must go into the job with an objective and a plan. This helps create a better-finished product as well as team chemistry. This was truly proven correct by the final podcast because you could see how much being prepared as a team helps the flow of the podcast. Similarly to the team, I was apart of in class, this project relates very closely to the lacrosse team I am on. Our first game and our first podcast were a bit unorganized and not as free flowing/ smooth as it should be. After a few games, just like the podcast, we came together, planned better, and played much better. All in all, a great team, comes with a great plan.
