Petrichor is packed with an all-star cast. The Narrator, as those who are a fan of The Stanley Parable may know, is Kevan Brighting. For those who are a fan of Goblin, Lee Dong Wook is back, this time as a socially awkward urban legend instead of a socially awkward grim reaper. It's also Lee Haru's acting debut as a bright and shinny girl who isn't afraid to burst into someone's life without warning. This all-star cast gets better with cameos of Tom Holland and Thomas Brodie-Sangster, who show up in one or two scenes.
This story will be told through the eyes of Theo, including first person narration, to show how biased and misconstrued outsider views are. This story will also follow the formation of an odd friendship as he helps a neighboring girl walk home from school, without skipping extended walks or awkward pauses in conversations. This friendship is to show how relationships formed don’t depend on age or people, by forming an unlikely friendship between two people. The final goal in this screenplay is to achieve a slightly naive, but warm tone by slowing down the pacing and creating realistic scenes without a pressuring atmosphere of angst. So settle down, relax, and smell the sweet petrichor.
