WOO HOO! for Boo Hoo
Today I listened to Boo Hoo's first podcast called "The Pledge". Overall, this group really excelled. At the start of the episode, things seemed to be unorganized and all over but quickly fell into place after the first few minutes. The tone of the podcast was casual and laid back while still sophisticated and in depth, especially in it's dialogue and analysis of the movie which really aided in keeping me engaged the during the entirety of the episode. Also, the podcast was really well organized which was really nice. Except for a few short moments, the flow of the podcast remained really smooth and was easy to follow. Since I hadn't seen the previous Final Destination movies, it was nice to still be able to follow the discussion and not seem lost. The only downsides from this podcast that there were a few moments where the speakers seemed a little confused as to what should come next, and that once or twice a single person would get caught up summarizing a moment from the story a bit too much. Also, bringing in a few outside sources other than the previous films from the same series would likely be beneficial. Things are looking good for Boo Hoo and their podcast was a pleasant surprise which has me eager to tune in for their next episode.
