Lauren Zanetakos
Period 3
Today in class we entered into class and Mr.
Rivers started us off with some helpful tips to follow when writing the next
step of our papers. He asked us the questions, ”How will YOU sequence YOUR
paper? How can you align your paper to maximize synthesis?”
While also
giving us some notes to follow like: The paper should be mostly combining your
academic and cinematic evidence together in a smooth way, make sure that you
bring your experts to the surface (cause they deserve it), and remember if it
hard and boring for you to writing it then it’s twice as hard and boring for
the person reading it (or grading it, hint, hint). Mr. Rivers also give us a
great tip in well managed time. He said it’s best to stay organized and make a
to-do list to help us stay on track. Something as simple as a to do list can
also be used in our own lives. We are all going to be graduating this year and
our futures are speeding towards us faster than think and by learning organizational
skills and time management we are building great habits for paving the way to a
successful future.
While working on our papers my table
started to plan our epic film project for the spring. We all chipping in our
outrageous, and entertaining ideas while also trying to remember that we should
be focusing on the assignment at hand. The deadline for our papers in coming up
quick. Like Mr. Rivers was reading my mind because I looked up at the board and
saw that he had put a note up onto the board. This
note remained on the board. Our senior paper is due at 11:59pm on February
16th. That 2 weeks from today or 14 days away or 10 school days. Whichever you
prefer to think about it. Time is ticking my friends, good luck!
