Today we all recorded the second podcast out of four about our first movie we decided to watch. Beforehand, Mr. Rivers gave the class a few pointers. He reminded the class to check the comment's left on our group's podcast slide from the Baby Driver podcast and see if you want to take the advice given or not. He also reminded us again to do a quick sound check before recording to make sure everybody can be heard and to finish the pre-production page to make sure that groups have goals set for podcasts and that everybody in a group has their own personal objectives to follow through with so everybody contributes to the podcast. Then each group went to an assigned location and recorded the podcast about the movie they watched and about whatever part of the book they all read up to.
An extension that extends what we did in class today into the world at large is the part of class where we all worked on the pre-production. The pre-production helped us organize what everybody was going to do and say so we had better flow in our podcast and we didn't have to worry about akward silences as much since everything was planned. This extends to the world at large because planning things out before doing them can save alot of time in the long run and will keep everything organized.
