Today in class our groups continued work on our final narrative, some groups filmed scenes around the school, others worked on their narrative slide page or on editing their clips together into their final product. My group spent time labeling clips to be edited together and planned for the final scenes to be shot tonight. We also spent time working on our narratives press release to be posted on the class blog. Our group plans on completing the final narrative by this friday. Completion entails that we have 15 pages of script finished as well as 15 minutes of screenplay edited and ready for presentation. The topic our group chose to explore is the world of pencil pushers, the movie is an analogy for the drug world and the people stuck in the game. Creating this movie was more difficult than we originally thought as what we had envisioned would actually take alot of work that we were not prepared to do so now our film is kinda a collection of loosely related clips that go with our story. There was also an excessive use of profanity that required lots of bleeps and editing to make it pg.
