As a lover of comedies, I can tell if I'm going to like a movie or not. "Snatched" directed by Jonathan Levine tells the story of a recently dumped on the eve of her vacation, Emily Middleton (played by Amy Schumer) persuading her cautious mother, Linda (played by Goldie Hawn) to go down to an exotic getaway in South America. As the Vacation starts, Emily meets this guy who in the beginning took her on crazy adventures, but ultimately had bad intentions of kidnapping Emily and Linda.
This movie was hilarious from start to finish. Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn are both amazingly funny. Sometimes serious in the film, it is immediately backed up with funny dialogue. It can also be quite distasteful at times when Amy Schumer's breast make an appearance, while also using harsh language, alcohol, and drugs. This movie is rightfully rated R.
With no other movie like this movie; no tropical vacation kidnapping, Snatched brought a whole new concept to cinema.
Overall, the movie was great to watch and I would give it a good good on the be reel scale. I would recommend this to anyone who loves comedy.
