We started off the class with reviewing what we went over yesterday. Making sure the groups knew what areas they had as well as mentioning the topics over again to get a better understanding as to what we were watching again. My group had symbols, we believed that the parsley symbolized love, and companionship, as well as learning to share love and to be contempt with what you got. The class then got back together and then went back again to explain re-watching the film for precision and focus. Make sure to know where to look for evidence, search for specific scenes that help to expand and support evaluations, and the to replace the neutral language with tonal flavor. After going through this, we went to the transitions document that was apart of our Movie Review assignment. Transitions are used to basically continue from idea A to idea B. Good transitions are seamless and are used to bring information from the previous paragraph or sentence to then talk about it in your next paragraph or sentence. Afterward, we then were allowed to start drafting ideas for the review of Feast.
Using these techniques we can write effective reviews. Also with the Feast review assignment we can really provide useful information for the review. As well as incorporating it into our BRBs for MP2 and changing it from our first initial MP1 BRBs. Also using transitions can really aid us in writing anything, from scholarship essays to college essays to help us keep some structure to our essays.
