Analyzed the Colors of the Wind Perfectly

I am very proud to say that I am probably too big of a Disney fan. So when I saw that the 90 Reasons Why podcast group was reviewing and analyzing Pocahontas, I was more than excited. Pocahontas was one of my favorite Disney Princesses growing up next to Ariel and Belle, so I was excited to hear what the group's opinions were about the film, and what their subjective views were on the film as well. From last week to this week, the group made a huge improvement. At first, they started out slow and quite stiff, and had some awkwardly long pauses. However, once the group loosened up, they were able to have a great discussion with lots of evidence and detail. Of course the group said their own opinions about the film (Good Good) but they also discussed some lessons that the film addresses to a younger audience, such as racism and war. The group was also able to point out that Pocahontas is the first protagonist in a Disney film that is not Caucasian, which ties into their analysis on how Pocahontas portrays to those lessons.  Overall, the third episode from the 90 Reasons Why podcast is ten times better than their previous podcast, and I look forward to hearing their last podcast next week.
