"Men In Tights" Is a Very Good Start for Comedic Classics
I decided to give Comedic Classics' episode on Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and I'm very glad that I did so. The group was great in keeping a flowing, passionate conversation about the film, analyzing its comedic choices and whether they paid off or not. The group obviously had a great time talking about this film, and are able to have a great flow to their conversation, making it an entertaining listen. Their callbacks to Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves are also great, giving relevant context to Mel Brooks' parody. I am really hopeful that this group feels more comfortable with their podcasts faster in each episode, as they felt forced to keep that strictly academic tone for a tad bit too long, even if they eventually end up giving that vibe of three friends sitting in a room talking about movies by the end. I am super happy with this group's first podcast, and I'm eagerly waiting on this Friday's podcast on Spaceballs (a personal favorite)!
