At the beginning of class today, we went over some tips for research:
- Organize with bookmarks and folders
- DISCOVER your major players and their POV’s
- Develop an understanding of your audience
- Allow your research to open up new questions / connections as you carve out a purpose for your own paper
This was meant to help us research more efficiently, and put that research into a great paper. This is just the very beginning of our research, however. Once it gets closer to senior paper writing time, we will be researching plenty more. After we went over those tips, we continued our research. Today was our last day of in-class research. However, the due date for the graphic organizer of articles was moved to 1/11/18 at 11:59 pm. So, there is one more day to work on it. There may just not be time in class to finish up.
