End of the F*cking World Season 1
Luke Schmitzer

During this marking period I watched the TV show end of the Fucking World. Although this show is very popular amongst Netflix viewers I find the show to be extremely weird. This show is at times subjectively enjoyable because it has the occasional comedic relief but overall it has a weird vibe to it. The humor that allows for it is just the awkwardness of how weird it is. By that I mean just the show overall touches on some weird subjects. These subjects can include masturbation, girls having their periods, murder-rape cases, psychopath, etc. But in the defense of the directors it'd be very hard to have all the topics and it not give the show a weird vibe. A lot happens in the show but I'm short: two outcasts become friends, they run away, they commit a murder in self defense, and then go on the run.
This show is subjectively made well. The setting goes from place to place and there is not what place that seems poorly set up. It starts in a suburban town and ends up in a rural area with vital pit stops along the way. The music is is perfectly on point with a song that plays describing each situation that is going on or each event that is happening. This is shown when they both first start walking together and a song describing a crazy guy and angry girl is playing, which exactly what the two are. The acting is also very good and the neat thing is there is dialogue spoken to tell us what the characters are thinking so we are basically in their head.
