Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring is a movie that is filled with fantasy and adventure. The movie is about a hobbit named Frodo Baggins who meets his friend Gandalf the Grey, who is an old wizard, known for setting off amazing fireworks in the hobbit village known as The Shire. He asks Frodo to go on an adventure with him and others (two humans, an elf, and a dwarf). Eventually, 3 other hobbits decide to join Frodo on his journey. They all have a quest that they must accomplish, destroy the ring. The ring was made by the evil Dark Lord Sauron and was labeled as the one ring to rule them all. When the battle for Mordor went on, the human Isildur took his dead father's broken sword and cut off Sauron’s finger, along with the ring. Having lost the ring, Sauron was defeated. Isildur took the ring and instead of destroying the ring like many of his council told him, he kept it for himself. We find out that Bilbo Baggins went on adventures with Gandalf and on the adventure he found the ring. He took and kept it hidden. He gave it to Frodo to destroy it on the journey. On the way, they encounter the elves and their village. There the wanderers ask for help to try and find a way into mordor. The elves tell them how to get to Mordor and then they continue on their quest. Before they leave, Frodo meets the elf queen, Galadriel. She warns Frodo that someone will try to take the ring on their quest and all this weird stuff happens in the movie when the wizard Saruman turns out to be evil and makes an army of orcs to kill the wanderers and get the ring back for Sauron. This is the first movie in the series of the Lord of the Rings. The movie did very well in multiple areas in cinema. For example, the developers of Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring did a very good job at the special effects in the movie scenes. During the scenes with magic used by Gandalf, the special effects looked very real and lifelike. Also, the special effects used to make a majority of the characters in the movie, for example the orcs and the goblins, were also very good. These creatures seemed almost too real to imagine, and it almost put you in the scenes. The characters in the movie did a very good job at acting as well. They yelled when it was necessary and the showed lots of emotion to make the movie more real. This movie did a very good job overall with everything and I would rate this movie at a good good. The whole movie was excellent and i enjoyed it. I would recommend other movies that follow the same genre as this like Black Panther and the Hobbit series, which is a spin off of the Lord of the rings series.
