The Planet Earth series is probably one of the most relaxing and yet informative movies that I personally have watched in a very long time. Unlike most of the other Movies and T.V shows out there which either have high stress levels like horror movies or constantly keep you involved with action movies, this has something special about it. Planet Earth II and Planet Earth I are split up into a series of episodes that last about an hour long and go over a ecosystem and what goes on in it. It ranges from the deep abysses of the ocean all the way to the Highest peaks in snowy mountains, along with everything in between.
This series covered by BBC has been around for a while and I even have memories of watching it as a child. I still love the series and wouldn't ask for anything within the show to change. The narrator in the different episodes also adds another ascetic to the films unlike anything else. With all of the calming shots of nature panning to one another while the British narrator (David Attenborough) goes over the content making it enjoyable and yet you are still able to learn super cool facts.
I would recommend watching this show if you enjoy nature a lot or if you'd just want something peaceful to sit down on a Sunday night to relax yourself. So if your someone that looking for a film like that feel free to check this one out. And if you are like that I bet you'd give it a good, good rating on this film just like me. The film just does just a perfect job at incorporating Facts and statistics into a just relaxing and enjoyable film so perfectly that its almost unrecognizable that you're learning something.
So join me as I chill out with the Leopards high on the Mountains or get lost in the jungle with the Monkeys as we take on Planet Earth II.
If interested here is a preview of a few of the episodes:
