So I just watched First Man, a movie about Niel Armstrong who is played by Ryan Glossing. This movie shows Niel life not only focusing on being an astronaut but a father and a husband as well, It shows his life from when he loses his daughters life from a brain tumor the Apollo 11 moon mission. The movie shows struggles from both of these lives and how much lose that Armstrong both from the people he once cared about. But the movie doesn't just follow Niel perspective, this also follows the struggles of his wife Janet, who is played by Claire Foy shows her side having a husband that works almost every single day and sort off acting like a single parent for their kids, and Deke Slayton, who is played Kyle Chandler shows the side how it like to be Niels Neighbor/ Co-Worker/ Best Friend and how he has his relationship with his family.
I think that First Man so far might be the best film of this year, The acting was phenomenal especially from Ryan Glossing and Claire Foy. Ryan Glossing always surprises me every time he plays his recent roles like when he played Holland March from Nice Guys and K from Blade Runner 2049 The Score was stunning and fitted every scene. The CGI on the rocket and in space almost feels like its real. I usually hate the overuse of shaking cams in movies but this is definitely an exception because it helps show how it is it like to be in a tight metal rocket that feels like it’s made of ducktape and could maybe kill you. Also if you have the opportunity please watch this movie on Imax, You will definitely have the best experience watching this film. As obviously as it is as, I am giving this film a good, good.
