daily blog

Between the snow day yesterday and the delay today, class  was a day to recap and get moving on the work process of our senior paper.  We first talked about our articles concerning our papers and how to organize all of our research.  Some of the research goals set today was number one,  organize with bookmarks and folder. Keeping all of our research whether its a quote or website must be organized. Another thing to keep in mind is DO NOT procrastinate.  This is one of the biggest, most important papers we ever had to write so procrastinating and not doing your best on this will no be the best decision. The next research goal is discover some of you major players point of view. Make sure you know their stance on the topic and how they can “relate” or be involved with your topic. Next,  develop and understanding of audience and last, allow your research to open up new questions/connections for your purpose. After Mr. Rivers talked about these goals, he let us go on our computers and fill out the chart posted on classroom.

NOTE: Use bullets/note format here so you can stay CONCISE, but SPECIFICITY is your true ally.

Class today could relate to the real world because it showed me how important it is to not procrastinate. It showed me that procrastination does not display your best work or even your potential as writer or anything you do.

Remember that the Be reel blog is due at the end of the marking period and  your rating of the show should be on our bulletin board in class.
