Today's class was a productive one to say the least. Even though it didn't include any power points or lectures, our class still able to learn and make progress on our projects. Weather it was typing up a transcript or filming everyone in the class was doing something related to the project. Mr. Rivers' started the day off with his usual introduction and soon after we got to work. Since the class was all working on their own projects, I'll discuss what me my partner and I accomplished today. First started off simple with just getting ready the scripts and "costume" afterwards we retrieved a camera from Mr. Krauland's room. Our scenes we were recording today required extra actors although we were prepared for this. We had discussed with two classmates if they were willing to assist and luckily enough they had said yes (thanks Colaco and Tom). Soon after we finished recording our scenes Luke and I returned to Krauland's room to upload and edit our film. Although the editing process will take some more time to completely finish we were able to select our better scenes and due other smaller adjustments.
Overall today's class along with essentially the rest of the classes that we are working on the project helps tremendously with time management abilities. Even having a planer or "goals" to accomplish within a set given time helps us see how many tasks and how capable we are of accomplishing them. An example of this can be as simple as a job, you need to make sure you are there for work without having other actives intervene with your schedule.
