Today in Mr. Rivers class he went over all the deadlines that are for the movie project. After the two day from the school being closed due to the weather, we had to update the deadlines that were made to keep the work evenly spaced out. With our group, we have finished the paper for the project and are now outlining the script for the movie. Every due date for the project is on a Friday, May 18th, May 25, June 1st, and June 8th, keeping the work spread out and from getting to the point where all of the projects needs to be finished in one night, also the last deadline is on the day of prom so Mr. Rivers strongly advises all groups to be finished before the last deadline to keep from getting to this dilemma . When working on the script our group shared it to all of us on writer due to make it easier to collaborate with each other, and just make it less of an inconvenience to work with one another. We also helped Tony in completing a scene for his movie. The scene consisted of Mr. Rivers working on the board when Tony comes in late, he then turns to Tony and says that all the class is going to be given a pop quiz because of his lateness, everyone in the class then pulls out a crumpled piece of paper to throw at Tony.
This helps in the future if you are going to film or want to have a future in production after high school, plus it gives everyone practice for their movies in the future. The movies are also a good experience for acting for future jobs, and also gives us a good experience to writing scripts and pitches for future references and jobs.
