May 3 Be Real Blog

Even though Mr.Rivers was not here today in class today. Today in class we work on making our pitch letters for the ideas of our projects. Kirk and I have been discussing ideas and making a brainstorming chart which helps us keep our ideas organized. So this is what we began class with and then we started to organize our pitch letter. The first thing that I found most important to start our pitch letter with was a good title and hook. So we began making a list of multiple titles we found were good and could help our overall letter. Then we work on a little bio for each of us which was one of the hardest parts. After that we wanted to include a line of dialogue to give a background text to one of our main characters. This is an important step to create a voice to the story which can help the letter get moved across the disk of a producing studio and could help us get our idea approved by Mr.Rivers. Then we work on making a brief yet effective statement about or work and what we want it to be. This is another important step in making our pitch letter the importance in it is that it gives the reader the meat of the idea and is the most crucial peace of the letter. Then we included on are separate letters comparable titles that or idea is similar to which makes it even more relatable too. Lastly we included a very brief bio which is just the last sum up to the end of the pitch statement.

Overall how does this help in our lives? A lot actually these types of letters are key in multiple job fields yet they have different reasons for them. However in four years time these types of pitch letters will be quite useful in the interviewing process. Another way this could be useful is by improving the creativity and practicality of our ideas and making them much more refined. Another thing that this helps us in life is writing to a peer audience and it helps enhance or professional tone .
