Daily Blog: 5/23
Today in class we worked on our narrative project. My group which consists of Lauren, Tori, and Elias went through what we needed to get done. We have a calendar made that tells us what days we can film and what days we are not available to film. Yesterday we took some of the film that we have already and broke it up into folders. My folder has two folders inside of it labeled interviews and skiing. This helps us when we want to edit our films and out them together, because everything is organized. Elias worked on finding a way to save the imovie film to an icloud so we don't have to worry about losing our work. Tori worked on our logo for our film. Lauren and I moved the films around to find the appropriate folders, deleted films that we would not use, and labeled the films. Today we really used our calendar to see which days we could all film. My group is really pushing to be done with all of our filming by the 29th May which is going to be really hard. My group has the dedication to really work together to get the things done that we need.
This project really connects to the outside world, by making sure you are on top of things. For this project is shows that you can't procrastinate on it, unless you don't want a good grade. This all translates into the real world, by when you have a job and have a deadline to do certain things you don't want to wait until last minute to get things done, or the work that is produced will not be as good as it could have been. This project also brought me outside of my comfort zone which relates to things in the outside world, because I am not always going to do things that I am comfortable with. Maybe it be for work where the boss puts you in a group setting and you don't like working in groups so it pulls you out of what you are comfortable with.
DON"T FORGET YOU ONLY HAVE ABOUT TWO WEEKS TO FINISH THIS PROJECT!
