Planning Your Work
        Good morning Fellow Classmates,
Today in class, it was another day filled with hard work, planning, and execution on our marking period 4 project. Whether you chose a 15 page script or a 15 minute film or anything in between, you will be required to create that plus a Netflix summary (300-500 words) and a movie poster. Mr. Rivers instructed us this morning that we must create some deadlines for ourselves so we ensure that we complete our work efficiently, incrementally, and on time. Mr. Rivers also assured us that he will be conferencing with us around the time of these deadlines, to make sure we are following with the work we were planning on doing. After Mr. Rivers went to his meeting for the first 10 minutes, we simply began working on whatever we decided on our deadlines was first. When he came back into the classroom, he began helping students on their work for any questions or concerns they have. For an example for the deadlines, I am completing a 15-page script and my outline goes as such:
May 18th - 5 Pages of Script
May 25th - 10 Pages of Script, Netflix Summary
June 1st -  15 Pages of Script, Movie Poster
June 8th (PROM WEEKEND) - Review & Revise
I feel this is an equal proportionate amount of time to complete my work, and each deadline date being a Friday, gives me goals each week.

Deadlines such as these (ones created by students) I think can be very effective throughout any type of work you are completing. When a deadline is created by student, it is fit around their schedule, so they can follow it the most smoothly, and this is an important tool you can use in your future job or college career that can keep YOU on track of things, and go about things how YOU want to complete them.
