Chris found pictures of Rose with a bunch of other african americans, including Georgina and Walter. He realizes they all have been hypnotized and captured. He tries to get out but Rose fumbles with her keys pretending that she lost them. Meanwhile the rest of her family begins to trap him. He tries to fight her brother and leave but Rose’s mom taps her tea cup which triggers the hypnosis and they carry him away to the basement. Meanwhile Rod realizes that Andre from yesterday was actually kidnapped by Rose’s family. Chris continues trying to escape from the basement. A television turns on and a man begins speaking, saying that because of Chris’s physical abilities, he has been chosen. The man is Rose’s grandfather and he says Chris is going to be part of their family, and “Coagula”. Back in Brooklyn, Rod goes to the police and tries to explain the situation to them but they laugh in his face. Rod calls Chris’s phone again and Rose answers and tries to get him off her case. The blind gallery owner from yesterday then appears on the screen. He explains the process in which Chris will get a brain transplant with the gallery owner so he can see again. The father then begins the brain transplant on the gallery owner and Jeremy goes to get Chris. Chris then hits Jeremy over the head with a bocce ball. He reveals he's stuffed his ears with cotton to prevent being hypnotized again. Chris then kills the father with a deer head and stabs the mother with a spoon. Jeremy comes and attacks him and Chris finally kills him as well. In attempting to escape Chris hits Gloria as he goes back for her because it reminded him of his mother. She then tries to crash the car and kill him because she’s really the grandmother. Chris regains consciousness after the crash to Rose shooting at him. He starts to run and Rose and Walter corner him. Chris takes a picture of Walter and this stuns him, giving him back his consciousness momentarily. Walter asks Rose for the gun, he then shoots her in the stomach and then shoots himself. Rose struggles to get the run again and shoot Chris. Chris begins to choke her out but can’t because he really loved her. A cop car then pulls up and Rose tries to play the victim card. Unfortunately for her, it’s Rod. Rod and Chris return back to Brooklyn and leave Rose to die.
The microaggression in the film today where Rose plays the victim card was seen earlier in the film as well. Except earlier in the film she stood up against the cops. Today, she played the victim card. Rose knows that if it were to be an actual cop, they would’ve immediately shot Chris, due to his race. This unfortunately holds true in real life. Racial profiling is a real problem and cops will often pass judgement on people of color before getting the whole story. This can often result in innocent deaths.
