Be Reel- Glee

GLEE- SOME SPOILERS

When the TV show Glee first aired in 2009 i watched it with my entire family thinking it would be a good show. In the first episode the show gave me the impression that it was almost like High School Musical with Zac Efron. William Mckinley High school is a big Football/Cheerleading school with no glee or choir club. Then Will Schuester comes into the scene. Will is a Spanish teacher at William Mckinley and wondered why the school did not have a glee club. The only thing stopping Will from making the glee club is Cheer Coach Sue Sylvester who is an awful person on the show. She despises the glee club because it takes fame from her 20 time National championship cheerleading squad. In the 6 seasons of Glee they face many ups and downs involving Sue and her hatred for Glee

The objective quality of this show is great, but not perfect. The main characters of the first 3 seasons were seen in every episode. When season 4 started a couple big time characters suddenly were not in the show anymore. This bothered me because they did not tell the audience where he went. The character was Noah Puckerman who was a Jock/Jerk in the show that did not like the fact that his friends saw him join the Glee club. He was in every episode and caused a lot of drama within the show. The absence of him in season 4 was questioning until season 6 finale when he came back for the reunion. Him coming back answered the question of where he went. He joined the military.

Personally Glee is my all time favorite show. Sorry to all the people that love the office, but Glee is my #1. The show had the right amount of comedy, drama, and music to make it a great show. The comedy side was great whenever Will Schuester would crack a joke or Noah Puckerman pranks his fellow Glee members always made me laugh. The drama was very intense with the passing of chartacters and the identity of one of the characters babies. Both created an extreme amount of intensity that made me glued to this show. Lastly, the music they sang were all hits. Whether it was from the 80's or present day every song was a hit that made me sing along.
