Daily log blog 6/12/18

Welcome back to school everyone, I hope you all had a good prom and prom weekend! Today in class Mr. Rivers started us off by giving us note cards and explaining to the class that we would be doing tweet reviews of the movies. Everyone is expected to write a tweet long review of each film that we watch in these up coming class periods. After explaining this we jumped right into watching the films and enjoying snacks brought in by Mr. Rivers and our classmates. The tweet reviews that we all wrote for the movies is an exercise for our critical analysis skills and is an important skill to have for the future not only in college but our everyday lives. In college it's good to be able to analyze the important details of lectures and break down what we learn into small fragments and in life it is a valuable skill to be able to break down whole material to formulate opinions and analyze situations. Overall if you weren't in class you didn't miss much more than watching the movies and filling out the tweets which would be no problem to make up in your own time especially since the movies made by our peers were enjoyable.
