The War That Nerves Ends

Avengers Infinity War is a very anticipated film is the Avengers series. I found that a lot of people have been looking forward to this movie and it doesn’t let you down. Avengers Infinity War directed by the Russo brothers seems to star every marvel superhero and it does this in a big and marvelous way. As most of you know from the trailers Tantos the main antagonist, is trying to collect all of the Infinity Stones so that he can punch people a lot and blow stuff up in big ways. He is a big bad person in a big movie. For the most part marvel has done a really good job at understanding what these characters are to so people around the world. The Russo brothers do a really good job at making this is a very fun and exciting movie. This is a an action with a lot of superheros and a lot of craziness happening throughout the film. I do not want to get to into it because I really don’t want to give away any spoilers. Spoilers aren’t any fun and just ruin any film for anybody. There's definitely an argument to be made about whether or not it's even worth it to review a movie like Infinity War because there's so much to talk about, but I can't because I don't want to ruin it for anybody. For the most part I the movie was a great success, but there are some issue with it. It can uneven at times. Taking all of these characters that have been set up by other film writers and makers and putting them under the control of other filmmakers. It makes the character seem out of place. The audience and fans are already familiarized themselves with all of these characters and now we have a new group of filmmakers, for the most part, taking all of these characters that have been set up already and putting them under the control of a few filmmakers. For example we have Doctor Strange directed by Scott Derrickson, who made a fantastic film and The Guardians of the Galaxy directed by James Gunn who also made a great movie. With Infinity War,  they're all put into one film and sometimes the characters don't always act the way you expect them to. At times it might feel a little clunky, but this is because the Russo brothers are trying to balance of opinions and emotions into one film. Each scene is on their own level and because there are so many heroes in this movie it makes sense. When you have characters that are in different places at different times with some characters that have never even met before, there is bound to be some type of awkwardness and clutter.
This is an enormous project to take on and the Russo brother manage to pull it off so well. I can't even imagine how difficult it is and was to balance all of this. I understand how hard it is to make a tiny film and I can’t even imagine the amount of time and effort put into Infinity War to make it work. Getting most of the negatives out of the way, the movie is still very enjoyable. All of the heroes are awesome and so is Thanos. There is something about Infinity War that gives this overwhelming feeling of hopelessness. Thanos is one of the first super villian that we see that has immense power. This makes Thanos actually seem very scary in the fact that he might not be able to be stopped. It’s one of the first times that makes you very worried for the well being of the heros. This is a very tense movie that doesn’t give the characters anytime to think or plan. You are always on the edge of your seat, wondering what the characters can do to try and stop Thanos.
Another point is humor throughout the movie. Just like other marvel films, there is always some kind of comedic relief. The Russo brothers do a great job at this by placing certain characters in certain area with other characters. This really provides for lasting humor trying to watch different personalities try to come together and work towards defeating Thanos.
Aesthetic wise the Infinity War was beautiful. You can really tell that the Russo brothers really took their time with this film. Every shot and scene is beautiful. Every editing tactic, cut and camera angle seems to be planned out so meticulously and provides for very smooth and beautiful film. This time and effort really pays off and makes the film very pleasing and very entertaining to watch.
Overall I think Infinity War is going to attend to most audiences. While it might have some characters acting out of place as I mentioned earlier, but all together this a fantastic marvel movie. In my opinion this is one of the best marvel films so far and is a great addition to the avervenger series. It definitely has some surprising and shocking moment, that just add to the as a whole. It’s goal of an action movie is fulfilled, making it a really fun and entertaining movie to watch. In the long run I am excited to see what happens next and the Russo brother did a fantastic job with this film.
I am going to give this movie a 9.7 out of 10 and a Good, Good rating. I’ve had a blast reviewing movies this years and watching my writing skill improve throughout these blogs and I can’t believe that this will be my last one. It’s been blast with you this year Mr. Rivers and I can’t believe senior is coming to an end. This Andrew Neumann signing off for the last time.
