An upcoming episode of NBC’s hit television series, The Office, is set to debut this Sunday night, June 10th, at 9 pm. This episode is titled “In the Heat”, and for good reason. The workers in the office come into work on a scorching hot summer’s day in Scranton, Pennsylvania, with temperatures reaching over 100 degrees. Unfortunately, when everyone gets to the office, they get no relief from the heat as they find themselves with a broken air conditioner unit. Everyone has their own feelings on the conditions of the days situation, with some positive and some negative. Michael decides that these are unfit working conditions and makes a contest to see who can come up with the best idea to beat the heat. However, who broke the air conditioner unit and why did they do it? That will soon be revealed in the premier of this episode.
This episode will feature all of the beloved characters from the office, with Steve carell as Michael Scott, Rainn Wilson as Dwight Schrute, John Krasinski as Jim Halpert, and Jenna Fischer as Pam Beesly. The episode will also include supporting actors such as Mindy Kaling as Kelly Kapoor, Ed Helms as Andy Bernard, Phyllis Smith as Phyllis Vance, Brian Baumgartner as Kevin Malone, Angela Kinsey as Angela Martin, B.J. These widely adored actors that have made this show a staple in many people’s lives will keep you engaged for the entirety of the episode. The Office is comparable to shows like Parks and Recreation and Modern Family, for those unfamiliar with this series. In terms of the episode, this latest one has comparable features to the season 5 episode 14 “Stress Relief”, in terms of Dwight’s antics.
The episode progresses as the audience observes the characters cope with the heat in their own ways. The hilarious series of events that take place throughout the episode will keep viewers engrossed for the entirety of the episode. The high temperatures cause everyone to act a little more on edge than usual. From some unflattering outfits to huddling around the freezer and other wacky ideas, the office members have some interesting ways of coping with the heat. In the end, the audience will find out the ridiculous reason why they had to sit in some unfavorable temperatures for the better part of the day.
