Coming to ABC this fall, from the producers that brought you The Office and Parks and Rec, an American comedy, The Classroom. The Classroom is a compelling story about teachers who are followed by a documentary crew throughout their day as they teach the young minds of America. The crew focuses on capturing the overall atmosphere of the local high school in Sparta, New Jersey. The characters are played by many profound actors and actresses; Wylie Todd the principle, is played by Adam Sandler. Darcy Clemmings, the receptionist and librarian, is played by Amy Adams. Noah Johnson, the math teacher, is played by Chris Pines. Darcy and Noah are love interest of one another. Drew Taylor, a young teacher in training is played by Zac Efron. The kiss-up Alf is played by Jim Carrey. A special guest appearance of Michael Scott, played by Steve Carell, come in to sell paper to the school. These A-list celebrities make it lovable and laughable throughout the entire season so it'll make you want to watch more.

Tension is built throughout the season due to Wylie's need of friends. Wylie struggles with people not liking him due to the past of not having friends. He constantly asks Darcy and Noah if anyone dislikes him and how he can maintain a friendship. This becomes a major theme for Wylie in the coming episodes as he constantly looks for his best friend in his co-workers. However, it doesn't become prevalent until later on in the season/series.
The characters also bring out the reality of what it is like to work in a school as well as with a principle like Wylie.

As the show progresses, Wylie is hit with the phone call from his superintendent that he needs to let someone go. He struggles with this idea throughout the show because of his need to be friends with everyone. However, Wylie is not seen by his co-workers as a friend. He is seen as an annoying boss that gets too personal with his employees.

The show was made for audiences who like the comedy aspect as well as documentary style. The Classroom will surely entice you to come back for more.
Come see this fall ABC's, The Classroom airing on October 18th at 8:00 p.m. est. Comparable to The Office  and Parks and Rec, The Classroom will surely throughout the season make you cry, smile and most importantly laugh.
