The academy of OHANA brings you a mockumentary style film that was shot on sight in our very own Sparta New Jersey, Staring Nick Colaco as David Applebaum, and Tom Blake as the interviewer, with Liam Cooke as script writer. Students are saying “I can’t wait to watch your movie” and “your movie is the one i’m most excited for” This film brings light onto the drug problem that is in Sparta and the country. With the thousands of deaths that it brings each year there needs to be something that shows the everyday person what it's like with the struggling people in sparta. Along with the justice system that risks their life to keep the streets clean of drugs and criminals that will only subtract to the overall feel of the nabrahood, and keep the people safe. This satirical film will follow the life of David Applebaum and the Sparta Pencil Slinging scene where pencils are used to influence the young. Before they know it they’ve dug themselves into a hole that they cant get out of. Stuck in the game for life. This mockumentary is full of twists and turns as our character enters the transition from small time pencil pusher with no future and just taking what he gets to pencil mogul who only accepts the best and will make no exceptions for anyone. The tragic death of David’s closest friend, Ibraham Ehling, leads him to single handedly monopolize the pencil business, but this doesn't come easily. There are many different obstacles put in Davids way. We follow David as he climbs the ladder to the top, with each rung bringing new challenges, the next harder and a higher risk than the last. Find out if David ever gets his due revenge to the top pencil pushing dog. If he can escape from their claws which cover the whole of sparta, where if you’re not with them you’re against them, and even under his supervision you’re not safe. David wants out of the game after finding out life changing news about one of his closest friends, to sack revenge on the murderer, but things aren't as straightforward as they might seem.
