Over the summer and somewhat into the school year I rewatched the TV show, How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM). This was the second time rewatching the show. Yes, I enjoyed it that much. The show, directed by Pamela Fryman, was a multi People's Choice Awards winner. The show won People's Choice Award for Favorite Network TV Comedy and many others. HIMYM has a rating of 9/10 from TV.com and an 8.4/10 from IMDb.com. The show left its legacy, and piece of it, in every fan's heart when it ended. The show ran for 9 seasons total. Similar to Friends, the classic show that everyone watched in the 90's until now, it involves a group of friends that you could consider family to one another. Instead of a coffee shop, it's a bar that HIMYM hangs out at. Instead of the iconic orange couch in Friends, it's a booth in the bar called McClaren's. For many more similarities between these two shows, some have come to pick a side as "Team Friends" and "Team HIMYM". Overall, some are fans and some are not. Here, I will explain why I think HIMYM is one of the best TV shows I have seen over the summer.
To start, we will discuss the objective side of this. There are multiple reasons HIMYM is great. To begin, the plot and storyline are so properly thought out, that it flows seamlessly. The show does a great job relating to the audience as well. THIMYM does this by creating characters that everyone can relate to in a way. With that being said, it builds a relationship with a character to its audience, and the relationship gets built more and more from season to season. Overall, the actors fit the roles perfectly, the plot is seamless, and the show connects to its audience, creating a relationship between the audience and the characters. Thus showing, how greatly made HIMYM is.
Now when taking more of a subjective or opinionated look into the creation of HIMYM, one can easily see how great of a show this is. In my personal opinion, I enjoyed HIMYM the most because I could relate all my friends and my self to the characters in the show. Something I truly enjoyed from watching this show, was how hooked I was episode to episode. Also, a number of life lessons the show teaches you is the biggest reason many people, like myself, love this show so much. All in all, HIMYM is an amazing show for both how its made, and how much I enjoyed it.

I agree 100% with this review HIMYM is one of my favorite shows of all time and you explain why it is so great in this review. The cast of characters and story is meticulously thought out and makes the show fun to watch and easy to follow. The show is made objectively well and the life lessons it teaches make it memorable. Subjectively its easy to fall in love with the characters and feel emotions towards all of them. The show is perfectly scripted and the characters make it lovable and memorable, it is definitely a good good show.
