B- Reel Blog 1/18/18 (Jurassic Park)

Jurassic Park is an adventure inside of a movie. It has all the action you could ask for in a dinosaur movie. This classic movie was made in 1993 by famous director Steven Spielberg. The movie's special effects were very good, mostly because the dinosaurs were not CGI, they were actually robots with dinosaur skin on them. In the actual movie, the dinosaurs are really lifelike and it adds lots of good and positive feedback to this specific part. The overall quality of the film was decent because it had a good story and it had some good background, like 3D printing genes of dinosaurs from mosquitoes and then using that DNA to breed them. This makes the story enjoyable for all audience members because some people enjoy the action, while others enjoy other aspects of the film. Jurassic Park helps make that possible. There were also a lot of choices used in the film that made it be successful. Lighting was a key factor in the making of the film. For example, for the happy scenes, the lighting would be light and there would be lots of bright colors as well. For the suspenseful scenes, there would be dark lighting and it would be very dramatic as well. This also leads into audio. Audio helps make the scenes more dramatic in the film. For example, when you hear the footsteps of the dinosaurs, you would hear it very clearly, which makes you know, there is a dinosaur coming. These choices make the scenes a lot more enjoyable for suspense and plot changes throughout the story. The film overall had a great plot and a great setting to us in the film a woodland area with pre-historic animals living in the age of modern man. This movie was a great film to watch and it is a great film to watch with other people as well.
