Be Reel Blog 2: Fuller House Tori Flynn

There has been many spin off shows from everyone's favorite 90’s- early 2000 television shows like Girl Meets World is the spin off of Boy Meets World and Raven’s Home is the spin off of That’s so Raven. There obviously has to be some changes in these spinoff just because they are usually decades later and the characters have aged. Sometimes people think tv  revival series may tarnish the memory of the original show. It may fail to recapture the magic that made people love it in the first place but, I don't necessarily find it a bad thing to add new memories.  Shows like these shouldn’t use the audience's nostalgia as a base because it could make people get their hopes up and then really tarnish their views.
I began watching Fuller House, a Netflix Original Series and binged watched the first 2 seasons in one weekend. (Yes I know that sounds a tad excessive but it’s true).  It has the same heartwarming  story line to start off the plot. DJ realized she is unable to cope with the demands of holding a full time job as a veterinarian in addition to raising three kids  after becoming a widow she has her sister, Stephanie, and her best friend and daughter, Kimmy and Ramona, move in with her back in the old Tanner family home. The “Fuller Magic” is kept today by having the same house with all the own memories associated with it. Except every scene is a little bit different now considering the fact you're no longer watching it with your family in the living room you're probably watching it on a computer or phone snuggled up in your bed alone binging the show in one weekend like I did. With each episode there is a lesson to be learned and advice to be given.   Also with every episode you can expect there to be a handful of  cringeworthy moments such as the Gibbler Gallop, Kimmy’s Huge Fat Head logo, and practically anything Kimmy does. Sometimes the older characters try to dirty jokes as an attempt to maybe demonstrate how their characters have matured but its just awkward and doesn't truly seem like the original.Full House. I would eat this show BAD GOOD  for the reasons that it is just so cringey sometimes but everything about it kind of works and is efficient in the means of making people laugh and putting smiles on their faces.

Above is the video of The Gibbler Gallop.
