Hardknocks with a hard review

The famously known football reality show called "Hardknocks" follows an NFL team as it prepares for the upcoming season. The season i have recently watched followed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. First off picking a team that is arguably one of the worst teams in the league was the first heartbreak, but then they just happened to make it even worse. They followed the most known players of course, but then followed around basically "scrubs" on the team that are barely good enough to make the roster. no one and i mean no one wants to watch these football players basically "choke" on a reality show and not make the team. OH and that is just the worst part of it. They show the players getting cut right from the team. Yes it is interesting to see how they get cut, but for the sake of the player no one wants to see them get their dreams ripped right out of their hands. It is just painful to watch.

On the other side of the ball their is some good coming out of this show. It shows that it takes a lot of work for one to not only make it to the league, but make the team. players were spotlighted on the team that needed a great summer to make it. Hardknocks followed them very well throughout the show and depicted the struggles of making the team and what happens if they don't make it. With them being followed it showed a lot of the football action up close. The cameras were all over the field giving the sense as if you were there. All this stuff is great, but why the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?!? The team has not made the playoffs in 10 years and only have 3 stars on the team and have no one else around them. It blows my mind.

In the end i am a little harsh on this season of hardknocks because of the lack of star power on the team and the team itself, but it does give a good depiction of the hardships players have to go through to make the team and basically secure a job. Action is subpar and the behind the scenes of the front office is decent at best. Jameis Winston was the only thing that let me continue watching this very below average season of Hardknocks. To conclude Great show, poor season, poor team with no star power and focusing on scrubs will lead to this harsh review.
