The Only Punishment For This Show Is How Good It Is

Netflix is truly one of the best companies to handle its business. Not only have they made a platform that's recognizable practically world wide but they also help create some of the most entertaining shows around. One of those shows would be called The Punisher. While it is kinda cliche to just use a comic book story and turn it into a show now a days, the way Netflix handles it is phenomenal. Its not like any TV series around. Instead of releasing just one episode every week Netflix is able to release an entire season in one day. Which gives every viewer the ability to watch the show on his or her own time. As well as avoid bad cliff hangers in between episodes. Which was a great decision by the shows creator Steve Lightfoot
Other great decision by Mr. Lightfoot would be his in choice in actors. Rather just one in particular; Jon Bernthal. An actor who has played other popular shows like The Walking Dead to Baby Driver. In almost all of Mr. Bernthal's work he manages to execute a perfect darker tone for the show. Which is vital for The Punisher. The show in itself is all about a soldier named Frank Castle, a man who lost everything (mainly his family). This lead him to use his military training and weapon expertise to seek vengeance out on the people who killed his family. Although this is more of a sub plot, the show really focuses on David Lieberman (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and how Frank Castle can help him see his family again.
The shows plot line seems confusing at first, especially if you don't know much about Marvel's comic The Punisher. Although the show itself is great. The actors portray their roles perfectly and sheer amount of violence is never without reason. All moments where you see Frank Castle put a bullet through some ones skull or crush there head in with a hammer he does it with reason. Their is no senseless violence in The Punisher. You can always sympathize with the "good guy" even when what he does is terrible. Which is what makes the show so good.
