Nurse Jackie- Mallory

Growing up I loved the T.V show House, my brother and I would always end up binge watching it. It was my go to show after school, and I would always end up rewatching. And comparing Grey's Anatomy, I felt that House was always the better show, entertainment and realistic wise.There is just something with medical based shows that always seem to intrigue me. Loving to watch medical shows, I was left heartbroken as House was removed from Netflix. Once my go-to hospital show was gone I went searching for a new binge worthy show, and that is how I came across Nurse Jackie.

   I am currently only 3 episodes into the series of 7 seasons, and I am already entertained. With the broody, comical characters and the realistic aspects of nursing, Nurse Jackie might be able to feel the void that House left. Realism is very important to me when I watch shows, unless its sci-fi or fantasy based. So having a medical t.v show where there wasnt stupid drama in every corner, cough Greys Anatomy cough, was very refreshing. Not only is it on the more realistic side of shows with its comes revolving around doctors and nurses, but it is very comical as well.

    Although there are some stupid/cheesy moments within the show, overall I would rate it subjectively and objectively good (so far). I definitely recommend this show for anyone considering the nursing field, as it shows the realistic qualities that nurses have to go through within the medical industry.
