The Italian Job

The Italian Job, a movie created by the director, Gary Grey is a must watch film if you are into action packed heist films. This film features stars such as Mark Whalburg, Jason Statham, Edward Norton and more. This film starts off with a squad of people trying to take a safe from a house without being noticed or using any violence. They are professionals at cracking safes and do it for a living. The film does a great job on introducing the characters and their backgrounds. The team of high class thieves try to avenge the death of their mentor with the help of his own daughter. The main character of the film Charlie (Mark Wahlberg) who is the mastermind of a venice heist that ends up causing commotion because of all the money that is stolen in the heist.
One Man from the group turns on them and they seek revenge of their mentors death. As time goes on through the film they try to get their heist crew back together with a new addition being the daughter of the mentor. Throughout the film a plan is made to be perfect inorder to steal the gold back that was stolen from them in the first place. The acting and screenplay in the film is entertaining. In my opinion in the beginning of the film it starts off slow because nothing is explained and its a squad of men stealing a safe. As the film goes on it starts to develop itself into a coherent whole and each individual is explained. This helped me figure out why they break into safes and how efficiently it is done. The girls talent is eventually needed because she gets paid to open up safes and the man that took the gold killed her father and turned on the squad. This makes the film interesting to watch and see whats going to happen next. That is why i recommend this film to others and i would rate it as GOOD GOOD on the be reel plot.
